If you are not hungry enough, does not matter how good the food is or how lovely it looks, no one can feed you; if you are not desperate enough, you cannot pursue your goals. God can only pour to the capacity of YOUR HUNGER! HOW HUNGRY ARE YOU?
God will always leave something with you as a SEED! You always have something to BRING TO GOD.
You have 'nothing to give"? God will always make sure you have something to bring to Him as a sacrifice. There is always something that you can bring to God, for Him to grow. You cannot expect a harvest, if you have not planted. Whenever you ask God for something, He will always ask you to 'bring something'.When you bring something ''out of your need' it releases the process of receiving as God is the only on who can grow what you plant.
God was jealous!! Is being jealous a bad thing after all or is it a good thing.
Jealousy often demands exclusive rights. It comes out of insecurity, vulnerability and past betrayal and pain. If you have been hurt in the past, you tend to be cautious next time. Human jealousy produces SIN! It acts out in malice, anger, bitterness, self righteousness and envy which is NOT FROM GOD. 'Jealousy' word is used in the bible purely to help us identify how possessive God is. Without using this word, we are not able to identify and understand God's feeling about you. A human jealously word has been used to help you UNDERSTAND that God is a loving God who cares about you so much, much more than the earthly parents, and that is why He wants to protect you from hurtful things. That is why He says He is a jealous God! His jealously is not based on malice or anger but of protection and love for your own good. A bit like the words David used in Psalm 23, when he says, "God is my shepherd, I shall not want...". He doesn't actually say God is a shepherd. He wants you to imagine God being as caring as a shepherd, as watchful as a shepherd and in Isaiah 6:1, " his train fills the temple", means His glory, his presence fills the temple. So the word 'jealously' in the bible is used to help you and me understand the depth of Gods love for you. No other words can describe that fearless, protective, loving feeling that God has for you. These are some scriptures to help you understand Godly jealous and human jealous.
Psalms 37:1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity. Proverbs 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy? Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which has a most vehement flame. Romans 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 1 Corinthians 3:3 For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men? 1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity braggs not itself, is not puffed up, Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. James 3:14 But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. James 3:15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
It says in the Bible in Genesis, that God spoke and it was. Words express your heart, they deliver information that is in your heart and the Bible says, that it is alive. Words spoken can build someone or break someone. Words have the power to encourage someone who is feeling low and contemplating taking their lives, and it can be used to bring a person down. Words have wounded people badly enough to stop them talking to that person for the rest of their lives. Words spoken either to OTHERS or TO YOURSELF, carry power to build you or to hold you back. When God spoke, it brought spiritual things into the natural and God says we are made in HIS IMAGE that means we are JUST LIKE GOD. Which means our spoken words can also bring the things from the supernatural into the natural. Jesus calmed the raging waves with just one WORD (Mark 4: 35-41). Use your words to build someone, not to break them. Watch over your words. If you want to get somewhere in life, be careful what comes out of your mouth to your self, about yourself and about other as well.
'Saying positive things bring positive results. When God wants something to happen in the natural, the Bible says, He SPEAKS. He spoke into existence the whole world. He declared it and it was. Your words are a CREATIVE FORCE. It is aid in the Bible that we are made in the Image of God and since God is a creator, we are also creators like like Him. He spoke and it is. In the same way, we declare/speak and it is. That is both for bad words and good words. Words have power, either way you speak, it becomes. But we don't believe therefore we don't see the same result as God. Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 8:26, "you of little faith". When you declare things without doubt and fear, it becomes. Proverbs 18:20, "Words satisfy the soul as food satisfies the stomach. The right words on a person's lips bring satisfaction". "A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper file", Proverbs 15:1 When we speak negative, it is like lighting a fire. It spreads killing life. When others speak negative into our life, we don't like it, it hurts us. If it hurts us, then why are we speaking negative about others. How can we say we are like Jesus when our actions are contrary to the Word of God. The Bible says out of our heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45, Matthew 15:18). When you say evil things, that shows what is in your heart. Your words defile you. Whatever is in your heart determines what you say, either good or evil. You must keep your heart checked, because out of it flows living water (Holy Spirit) (Proverbs 2:23). When your heart is clean, God will pour. When we accept the Lord as our savior, we become born again which means our old self dies and new self begins. We start changing from inside with the new shoots and branches and fruits. We cannot keep switching. Our body or flesh gets crucified with Jesus and we become more spiritual. The Spirit helps us to change. We cannot worship God with the same mouth we use to curse and hurt others. When you are rooted in the Word of God, then the Holy Spirit changes you and convicts you when your words are not giving life. You cannot keep offence in you and cannot throw your words idly either, you cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve the world and God. You will eventually fall into sin and into the world's ways as the road to world's way is wide. So Let me ask you today, who do you choose to serve? If you serve the Lord, then guard your mouth and guard your heart. Say only what you mean and want to come alive in your and in the life of others. if you don't want death, then don't say evil things, stay away from gossip and rumors, don't be part it. God is Holy and He does not tolerate evil.
Are you limiting yourself and others by what you declare, by what comes our of your mouth, by saying you can't do it, it is too hard, you don't have the skills? #rephrase #positivedeclarations #sayitgood #changeyourwords #watchyourmouth #changeyourlife #wordsarealive
Matthew 14:26, the disciples thought Jesus was a ghost and cried out in fear. Have you ever had Jesus walk your water of troubles, and calm them? The Bible says, Jesus was very different, He has great love and was moved by compassion. His name means healing, salvation, deliverance and health. He calmed the raging sea with just a WORD (Mark 4:35-41), He had complete power over evil spirits and alone had the authority to forgive sins. He healed the woman with the issue of blood who was very broken. Are you sinking today? Is your boat rocking in the waging storm and winds of life? Are you drowning in illness, pains and worries of the world. Are the negative words of other people spoken over you pulling you down, are you drowning? I was in all those places, alone, penniless and sinking as if a very weight was tired around me and I was going down never to arise again. When the Lord found me, I was broken and bleeding, homeless, hungry and alone. There was no way out for me. I had tried all the ways I knew how. Then I felt a strong hand reach me, hold me tight and pull me out. I don't know about your situation and what you are going through, but one thing I do know, that the God who found me and healed my wounds, gave me a new life, and purpose is stretching His arms to you today too. He is a gentleman who gives us choice. Will you hold His hand and allow Him to pull you out? Will you let Him save you? Invite Jesus in your heart and then See Him walking on your water of problems. 'See Him'. Say this prayer loud to accept Jesus in your life and calm those stormy situations in your life. "LORD JESUS, I DECLARE WITH MY MOUTH YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT YOU DIED FOR MY SINS, AND YOU ROSE UP FROM THE DEAD. I ASK YOU TO COME INTO MY HEART AND HEAL ME, HELP ME TO BE THE PERSON YOU HAVE CALLED ME TO BE. I ASK YOU TO MAKE SOMETHING OF MY LIFE, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!" You are now 'born again' which means the old you, the sinful you, has just died in the blood of Jesus and the new you has began. From here now, all your sins have been forgiven so don't allow the devil to bring guilty thoughts in your mind. Surround yourself with positive people, read the Bible (you can always download the app) and join a charismatic Pentecostal church to help you in your walk with God. Slowly you will change from inside out, and the things which interest you will fade as your hunger for God increases. God Bless.
Worry is like cancer, it will eat you out from inside. It comes silently like a jealous lover, stopping you from enjoying life, whispering notes of anxiety telling you how hard it is, that you cannot do it, that there is no hope. It will steal your joy and your peace IF YOU ALLOW IT! It will lock you up and call in its mates, fear, depression and anxiety and together they will celebrate your fall, your misery and your hopelessness. You are the only one who can put a stop to this party that is going on in your mind by speaking God's words loudly over your life. It does not matter if your situation looks bad, the Bible says, when you speak positive declarations over your circumstances, it begins to change as it did for God. The Bible says, God spoke and it was (Genesis). Jesus spoke to the raging storm and it shut up in Mark 4: 35-41). Jesus cursed the fig tree and it died down (Mark 11: 12-25, Matthew 21:18-22). Like the prodigal son in the Bible, Luke 15: 11-21), talked himself back home to his father's house where he had much more than what he was getting in the pigs den. The woman with the issue of blood in the Bible talked herself into healing, "if only I touch him, I shall be made whole" Luke 8: 43-48, Mark 5: 25-34).
In 2 Kings Chapter 7 (ESV), we read of four men who were suffering with dreaded skin disease (now at that time they didn’t have medical systems like we do now, so this skin disease was taken as very contagious, or even cancerous, deadly and the talk of the town). These four men were thrown out of the city. The Bible says they sat outside the gate (vs3). Not only were they sick with a deadly disease, but they also lost their homes, jobs, family and all that they held close to their heart. They were homeless and sick with a deadly skin disease. They had no money, not that anyone would sell them anything and they walked out, most probably with only what they had on their back. They had lost everything. Can you identify with these four men? Have you ever felt rejected, discarded, penniless and hopeless, feeling alone in a crowd? The bible says these four men, made a decision to do something, rather than sitting waiting to die. They decided to go to the next town and take a chance. “…Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” (vs 3-4) The reason I have highlighted those words is to show you some very important factors that changed these four sick and homeless men’s lives and can change yours too if you allow. “Why stay here until we die”
They changed their attitude about their situation, they were no longer happy to just sit there and let life pass them by.
They knew there had to be another way regardless of their situation and circumstances.
They made a decision to get out.
They were willing to try something, anything to get out.
They took a chance/risk by taking an action.
They were consistent
They did not give up along the way remember they could had been sitting outside the gate for some time, hungry, thirsty and tired.
Life can throw us things that hurt us and we have no control over those things, for example disease, sickness, joblessness, divorce, losses but, how we choose to react to these circumstances is what makes the difference. Sometimes you have to cut your loses, pick yourself up and get going. As you get older, you start to realize that life is going fast and small things we lose in life does not matter. Grudges we hold , who did what to us does not matter. As a person gets older, life becomes more precious because we realize we haven't got a whole lot of it now. Sitting and feeling sorry about your broken heart, or angry with people who broke you, or reminiscing about why you lost so much, thinking about your past, or are you going to make the best of the situation you have been handed, and making a decision to let go and live. Because we cannot change some things in life but how we react to those things makes a difference. That decision only you can make.
In Peter 4:10 and in Roman 12:6, the scripture tells us that God has given us all gifts, may it be cooking, singing, preaching, piano playing, anything you are good at, it is a gift from God and when we bring it back to God, He multiplies it and gives it back to us. Another story in the Bible speaks of a rich man who delegates the management of his wealth to his servants (Matthew 25:14-30). He gave different amounts to three of his employees. The Bible says, two went and invested it and brought back returns. On the other hand, one employee did not do anything with it. When the rich man returned, he was pleased with the two employees who invested the money and returned him with much more and gave them promotions. With the one who gave feeble excuses and did not do anything with it, the rich man took it off him calling him a lazy employee and sacked him (words changed). When we use what God has given to us, it pleases him. When God gave me this ministry in 2013, I did not have anything. I just had the prophetic words and His promise in my belly. Each day I would pray and tell Him that I did not have any resource till one day He told me to use that which I had in my hand like he told Moses in Exodus 4:2. And it was the start of this ministry. I used the little I had, and it is His business to grow it.
I lost my child when I was not even twenty years old. It was the result of domestic violence. I was young and vulnerable and although I was a Christian, I was not in the same level of my faith as I am now. I thought I would never heal from the pain of my broken heart, my loneliness and the loss of my baby. I blamed God for things I could not understand. The Bible says, the wages of sin is death (Romans 6: 23). This refers not only physical death but spiritual death/separation from God. "Your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that he will not hear your, (Isaiah 59: 2). This is the consequences of being rebellion against God. You see I had rebelled from God and went my own way when I married an unbeliever. I did not wait on God and I disobeyed Him. In doing so, I walked away from his plan for my life and chose to do it alone without him and this decision allowed the enemy in my life. Nothing in my life worked after that. It was like all hell had broken lose in my life. I would take one step forward and few backwards. My life became so very messy. I found myself in situations I never imagined I would ever. I was lost, broken and alone till God found me and I am so glad, that He did. All of my praises all the rest of the days of my life is not enough for what He did for me and my two children. I live to worship Him now. My soul rejoices in my God who rescued and restored me. He turned my mourning into dancing, He turned my sorrow into joy, He called me by a new name, happily married, no longer did they call me the deserted wife, (Isaiah 62). He gave me this promise in 1990 and He kept it. To God be all glory.
Sometimes we are so busy with the things of life that take most of our waking moments that we cannot hear God speaking to us in His still small voice. We look at the situations in our life and most often they look bigger than God. Our worries and concerns drown His voice and God is a gentleman, He will not bypass those things to talk to you. You need to learn to trust Him and tell those voices to be quiet so you can hear His voice. When you hear the loud noises of the waves and the rain, it is very to easy to miss His voice, because His voice is soft inside of your being. In order to hear Him in your storm, you need to sit back and allow Him to take control of your situation.
When we are going through situations in our life, we call out to God but it seems He does not answer in the time frame we give Him. Do not despair, He does hear you and He does answer. His answer may not come the way you expected it to come but it does come. The Bible says, He was the forth man in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:25), He was like a ghost in the storm (Matthew 14: 26), He was the Raven who brought the food to Elijah (1 King 17: 6), He was mistaken as a gardener (John 20 :15), He was the manna that fell from the sky (Exodus 16), He was the Lilly of the valley (Song of Solomon 2:1), He was the teacher (John 13: 13), He is your peace in the storm right now. Don't fear and don't panic. He is there although you may not see Him but He is in your storm. Say, " Lord I trust you. I may not see you, but I know you are here with me, helping me. I thank you Lord".
Offence is a big thing in life that holds us back. Taking offence is like soaring with the chicken, too much flutter of the wings but cannot fly (TDJakes). People will say things that hurt us, they will speak about us and against us, we cannot control them, but how we react to those words lies on us alone. You can take offence and shut yourself away and never talk to them or you can shrug off and move on. The Bible tells us that offences will come (Luke 17:1), Jesus tells his disciples that woe to them through whom they come".
People hurt us and we want to hurt them back. That is human nature, the devils nature. But God says forgive so that you can be forgiven (Colossians 3:13), if we don't forgive our father in Heaven will not forgive us. Forgiving someone can be difficult. It is hard to love someone who had broken us, bled us but God asks us to forgive. Love and forgiveness is one. When we don't forgive, we carry with us bitterness, anger, hurt which brings about illness and diseases. Peter in the Bible came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sings against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." (Matthew 18:21-22 NIV). " In order to keep Satan from getting the upper hand of us, for we know what his plans are (2 Corinthians 2:5-11).
As a true believer, our actions should change. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and our savior, we conform to the ways of Jesus, to be just like Jesus (Romans 8:29, 2 Corinthians 3:16-18). Jesus is not with us, but we are called to be his hands and feet, to help those in need just like Jesus did, to show mercy and love. People around us should be able to identify us as different from other people, as more loving and kind. Jesus never said no to anyone who came to Him. Jesus said when you help someone in need, you are helping me (Matthew 25:45). Be someone's Jesus today. Without speaking a word, your love and kindness should be able to bring them to the Lord.
When a farmer plants, he also expects an harvest from his efforts. Planting seeds is like an investment. Instead of the bank, it is sowed in good soil and interest is expected. When a seed of apple is planted, fruits of apple is expected. When we sow seeds of anger, jealously, gossip, we reap the same. In Galatians 6:7 ESV, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap". We gossip about people, we say things and spread rumors but if someone talks about us, we get hurt, become upset and we take offence. If you don't like other people to interfere in your life, then do not interfere in other people's life. You know it hurts you so now you understand it hurts others as well. Sometimes people use the Social media to shame other people and think it is funny but it causes much grief to the person you have talked about. Somethings we say causes depression and anxiety to other people which can sometimes lead to other serious things. Be mindful and be thoughtful when we speak, knowing that words are powerful and it can kill or give life. When we use our words to bless someone, encourage someone, your father in Heaven is happy and rejoices because it is a seed of love we are planting and God is love.
Jesus is in the midst of your storm. Wake Him up! June this year 2016, I paced the floor all hours of the night praying, crying and questioning God, "why Lord, how could this happen to me". I had a recall on my breast mammogram. I was afraid, I was worried and even though I am a Christian, I had to fight the fear of the unknown. It was a real battle going in my mind. Each thought that came, I purposely had to pull it down, replace it with healing scriptures from the Word of God. Each time the devil whispered that I was going to die, that the result was death, fear would grip my soul. I had to fight that thought, fight that fear with the Word of God one at a time. I walked around meditating healing scriptures. Like David, I encouraged myself in the Lord. One night I was crying to God, walking around my little apartment, begging, crying, pleading and asking God if there was a way, any way for me to get out this situation in my life. Was there any way that I did not have to go through the surgery of my breast. As I walked around crying and pleading with the anguish of my heart the same prayer over and over, "Lord is there a way, there has to be a way out Lord, you promised me that when I call upon your name, you hear me and when you hear me you answer me. Lord is there a way", I heard Him speak in my spirit. I heard Him say, "yes there is a way, Jesus is the way". Then He took me to the garden of Gethsemane, where I heard Jesus crying the same prayer as I was crying. He too was asking, was there any way, my father was there anyway..... (Luke 22:44, Matthew 26:36-46). I heard God say in my spirit, that for Jesus, there was no way. He had to die to make a way for me. He was the way. Jesus death was the bridge I could climb and go to God's mercy. I had a way, but for Jesus, there was no way. My mouth kept crying that for hours. That for Jesus there was no way, but for me there was a way, Jesus was the way. I went and had the very painful procedure but God was with me that day. He was with me in the nurse who wiped my tears, He was with me in the doctor was very kind and He was with me in all the team who cared for me that day. I praise God that Jesus made the way for me and for you to get to God who waits with open arms. If you have not received Jesus as your savior, as the bridge to God, then God has brought you to this site for a reason. Please read the prayer below aloud and you will be born again. "Lord Jesus, your Word says that if I believe in my heart the Lord Jesus and and I declare with my mouth that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. I now believe in my heart that Jesus is the son of God and He died for my sins. He rose up from the dead. I invite you Lord Jesus into my heart today. I ask you to wash me clean in your blood and make something out of me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name, Amen".
We all have at some point in our lives been broken, suffered losses, and bled. We have given up hope. But I want to share with you today that God collects all the broken pieces of your life and creates a beautiful Mosaic. I love Mosaics. They remind me of myself. I was also once broken, and was ashamed of my life. But look at me now, I am the Mosaic, all the broken pieces of my life stuck together to form the new me. God is the creator, He does not like to waste anything. What the world throws, He gently picks it up and washes it and fixes it and makes it into something very beautiful that people cannot recognize the old from the new. He is the master at that. He will make something new out of your brokenness, that people will not be able to recognize you. Will you allow God to reshape you, mold you, care for you and heal you? You are a treasure to Him. You are the one He sent His son to die for. You are the one His heart beats for. He loves to hang around you. He loves your company. He is an awesome God, managing the whole entire universe, yet He chooses to hang around you. He loves to spend his hours with you, sitting and enjoying your worship of Him. He calls you now. Can you hear him gently whisper your name. Your name was on Jesus lips as He took his last breath. Will you accept Him today and allow Him to make something new out of your life. If you do, please repeat the Lords prayer in the above podcast. thank you for listening.
Judas Iscariot had a destiny, a purpose and weather we like him or not, he did his calling very well right to the end. Jonah in the Bible tried to run away from His calling, and you know the story. Mary the mother of Jesus had a calling and even though she was engaged to be married, she submitted to her calling. We all have a calling, a gift God has given and once we submit to it and plant it, God will grow it. I ran away from my calling like Jonah and I too found myself in the jaws of troubles. God's mercy brought me out. You cannot run from your gifting, from your calling, it will find you. You will not find peace in anything you do till you submit to your calling. I worked in various jobs in my life but I was never satisfied, I was always looking for a new job. As soon as I found a new job and started, I would start looking for a new one. I was always searching and I did not know what I was searching for. Till I fasted and prayed and sought God about why was I born, what was in His thought when He made me, what did He create me for? Then He started to reveal it to me through prophetic words, through dreams and through His word and everything around me started to push me to my calling and here I am. Now I am no longer searching. I feel I am home. I know I was made for this. I know I have arrived. What is it that you are searching? What has God placed in your heart? Seek it and when you find it, put everything in it and God will grow it.
Fear is a silent killer, it will rob you of every joy and peace, it will chain you, it will hold you back and keep you in jail. Fear does not come from God. Fear is the devils tool to keep you from reaching your destiny. In Joshua 1:9, God commanded them to be strong and courageous and not be afraid or discouraged. In Isaiah 35:4, God tells us to be strong, not to be afraid and in John 14:27, God tells us not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid. The Bible is full of scriptures where God tells us not to be afraid. In fact each time anyone came to Him with a problem, He told them not to be afraid, only believe. Fear is a very powerful weapon that the enemy uses to keep you away in the jail of your mind. We know we can do it, but the devil will put the fear in your mind, "what if it does not work out, what if I fail again, what if they leave me again". He will always bring the 'what if' in your mind. He will make the situation so big, that you feel discouraged to pursue your dream. He will show you in your imagination and whisper to you how hard it will be, how long it will take, you do not have the skills for it, you are too old or too young, you don't have the resources for it and you will believe these lies and you never try. I was one of these people who believed the lies of the devil. I looked at my mountains and saw how high it was and in fear I crawled and laid there for years. If you don't try you will never know. Faith is risk taking trusting God. Faith is the opposite of fear. Fear will make things look hard and difficult. Faith will make things look possible trusting in Gods resources. Faith will say, take a step, fear will try to stop you. It is like faith and fear walk hand in hand. If you live in fear, you will drown but if you live in faith you will see the the goodness of God.
Domestic Violence will rob you of everything God has for you and hide you in the depth of its lies. Domestic violence comes in many forms, phyical abuse, financial abuse, name calling, verbally abuse, taking away all your wages, isolating you, making you break up from all your friends and families, stopping you from working or stalking you, lingering outside you work all the time, calling you, not taking no for an answer, making you sell your possessions to pay their habits, keeping you dependent on them, not letting you drive to work, insisting they accompany you everywhere, and domestic violance does not only happen to women, there are many men who are violated in these ways as well. The first thing is to recognise these actions, these behaviours in your life imposed on you and second is to speak to someone about them. Tell someone you trust for example your boss or team leader, or your doctor who can then refer you to appropriate services for assistance. Do not stay silent. If you have children involved, you must speak up to someone you can trust and doctor is the most favourable or your boss if you are working. Thoughts will come in your mind to give another chance, that they love you, or everyone has problems, but these thoughts are straight from the pit of hell. The enemy (Satan) wants you locked away in fear and lies so that you will never find out who God created you to be. No one can help you, unless you want to help yourself. You are the one who has to take that first step in faith and talk to someone you can trust who can bring you help. God has given us the gift of choice and He will not make you do anything you do not want to do, but He will guide and help you but you need to choose to accept Him and allow Him to help you. If you need prayer, please send us an email or drop a prayer request by filling out the prayer form, and do speak to someone so that you can get help and do all the things God has for you. God helped me and my children out and I know it is not easy to leave all that you built and the person you love or thought loved you, but Jesus did not die so that you can be beaten everyday, abused everyday and live in a broken place where there is no love and no respect. Jesus died so that you can have life and and abundant life. In John 10:10, it says, "the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life, to the full. "Father, Sovereign God, the Great I AM, I come to you today in agreement with this person who is watching this sermon and reading this that that you restore everything they have lost. You have seen and heard their cry, their pain and their suffering is not hidden before you, you are God who knows all and sees all, come to their help because you are a loving God, your mercy is everlasting and your love unfailing. Today we trust you and know you will help. In Jesus name, Amen.
From Acts chapter 1 & 2 Judas Iscariot had a calling in his life. He was chosen by Jesus who knows the end from the beginign. He is God. He knew about Judas yet He called him to serve Him. Without Judas, Jesus would not have reached His calling. There are people in your and my life, we don't like, people who we think have broken us or hurt us, but when I look at my life and on hindsight, the people I thought were my downfall, the people who broke me where the very people who pushed me to my destiny. So now, I am able to understand better that those people were in fact a blessing in disguise because without them, I would not be here preaching, teaching and having a ministry worldwide. Don't despise those humble beginings and don't hate those people who betray you and break you, they were put there to push you to your destiny. It is how you handle those situations and circumstances in your life that makes the difference to your future. Seek God in those broken places in your life, ask for wisdom and knowledge and God will direct your path. Now I am glad I went through that painful past, because it left me with a pearl, that shines now to hundreds and ministering to other broken people. I praise God that He was there for me. He loves you when you are good and when you are bad, He loves you unconditionally and NOTHING will keep Him from coming for you. He walks on fire and water to get you. Those people in your life and there for a purpose. There is purpose in your pain. When it is all over, you would have entered a different level in your faith. May God bless you and keep you as you become a partner to this ministry so that other lives can be restored. thank you.
Standing inspite of it all, stand. When we go through situations, it is easy to give up, especially when we have been waiting for a long time and nothing seems to shift in our life. The Bible says in Ephesians 6: 13, " Therefore put on the full armour of God (love, praise, worship, word, declare), so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, STAND FIRM. Even though nothing (yet) seems to shift and change in your life, continue worshiping, praising, talking to God, reading His Word and declaring His word over your life and in due time He will life you (James 4: 10). In Galations 6:9, it says, "let us not get weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap the harvest". It has to be a 'proper time' in Gods time, He knows when you and I are ready to be lifted, ready for a harvest, trust Him who hold the pillar of the universe. Father, today I pray that the person who is reading this and watching this podcast, you raise them up and bring them from the back to the front. Father in Jesus Name we come to you, and glorify your name in their life that you are seen mighty in their situation that they are facing and you breath life into their dead dreams. Lord, we glorify your name and thank you as you go before them and restore all that they have lost. In Jesus Name we ask, Amen.
Ezekiel 37: 1-10, the valley of dry bones. The Word of God is asking you to speak over the dead situations in your life, the dead finances, the dead relationships, the dead business and whatever looks dead in your life or your children's life, SPEAK TO IT. God says, prophesy over it, speak life to it. Tell your dead situation to listen to the Word of God (verse 4) and command it to to rise up in Jesus Name. Hear it rattleing in your spirit and see it rising up. See it, vision it. Command the wind from the North, from the South, from the East and the West to bring in your finances, to bring in your healing, to bring your children home, command it, speak to it, call it out, and believe it. It shall be done unto you as you say. In Jesus Name Amen.
Letting go of things that broke you, that hurt you, that shamed you so that you can be FREE to serve God. As long as you are full of the past hurts, God cannot pour the new wine into the old wineskin. You need to shed off the dead skin, the dead stuff in your life so that the new can grow. God will not do it for you, you have been given a gift of choice and you are the one who must take that step and let go, forgive and move on. Yes most of us did not have a fairy tail childhood, or a good marriage, but time has come that we can no longer sulk in pain, sulk in what could have been, what ifs and rise above it all to meet Christ like the lady with the issue of blood who bent rules to leave everything behind to meet up with Jesus (Luke 8: 43-48). What is it that you are struggling to let go, struggling to free yourself from, today is your day, to let go. You are not reading this by mistake and listening to this podcast by mistake, you have been led to this and today is your day to finally set yourself free. It is written, whomever the son sets free is free indeed (John 8: 36). Free yourself because the people you are holding grudge against have moved on, you are the one stuck. By setting them free, you are freeing yourself and allowing God to forgive you. Unless you forgive, how can you expect God to forgive you? Do yourself a favour and let go so that you can grow. May Gods Peace be with you today and help you free yourself.
The process of burying a dead body and planting a seed is similar, in both, you need to dig a hole. The difference is the seed has a vision and the dead body is dead, diminished of all vision. Before a farmer plants the seed, he prepares the soil and once planted, he waters it, looks after it by REMOVING the weeds, and protects it till harvest. When we accept the Lord Jesus as our savior, a seed is planted inside of us. Your heart is the land/the soil. The seed which is the Word of God will penetrate through all the hardness of your heart, like a strong seed will penetrate through the hard soil to bring about its destiny. It is our job to look after that seed, to remove weeds around it, to water it, to protect it and see it grow to fruition. Jealousy, malice, backbiting, creating rumor, creating division, disobedience, is all from the devil and not from God. That is the weed you need to pull out constantly and ensure your seed is protected by guarding your heart. The Bible says, out of the heart flows rivers of living water, (Proverbs 4:23; Matthew 12:34), and out of the fullness of heart the mouth speaks. Once we allow the carnality of the world into our heart, our seed becomes surrounded by weeds, that prevent it from growing to its full potential. In order to bring about a great harvest, you need to be watering your seed with the Word of God, while pruning all the dead branches and weeding out all the carnal/flesh things. We cannot be sitting on the fence, swapping sides when it suits us. We make a decision to serve the Lord and not our flesh. Our flesh has died with Jesus, just like the seed has to die first in order to bring about its purpose. You are dying everyday to your flesh, to your carnal nature and bringing about fruit of life. We are born again therefore our life should be changing from what you were before to the new you. The Word of God is the mirror that we see ourselves in, it changes us to be more like Jesus everyday. If you are not bringing about good fruit, the Word of God says that Jesus is the true vine, God is the gardener. We are the branches. God cuts off every branch that does not produce fruit. He prunes the branches so that more fruits will be produced (John 15).
